Oregon-based photographer Brad Sloan on a 3-day trip to New York City managed to capture some spectacular shots of the Big Apple in that short amount of time. Sloan, turns oft-photographed streets and landmarks into incredible images of architecture that seem like surreal, continuous skylines straight out of the film Inception.

Robert Longo: Charcoal | stapelberg&fritz | UnderConsideration
The enormous, photorealistic charcoal drawings by American artist Robert Longo (*1953 in Brooklyn, New York) show the beauty and horror of the present day and age. This large-format, elaborately designed book, printed on natural paper using a tritone process, bound in half cloth and distributed in four different cover designs, has been created in close collaboration with the artist and affords a comprehensive overview of his charcoal drawings from the past decade. The book was awarded by “The Most Beautiful German Books Prize.” It also received a certificate of honor by “The Best Book Design from all over the World.”
